Could you please display the enclosed poster in your school and encourage as many pupils as possible to participate in our Primary Schools' Clipboard Quiz in Villierstown Church? The details are as follows :
Tuesday, 18th. May ( 3rd. & 4th. Classes )
Tuesday, 25th. May ( 5th. & 6th. Classes )
The cost is £8-00 per team of four and a school may send as many teams as they like from each standard on the appropriate nights.
The trophies are as follows :
1st., 2nd. & 3rd. prizes in trophies for each standard .
East Cork Oil Perpetual Trophy--------------Best 3rd. Class
East Cork Oil Perpetual Trophy--------------Best 4th. Class
John Cunningham Perpetual Trophy----------Best 5th. Class
Rita Ronayne Perpetual Trophy-----------------Best 6th. Class
Megavision Perpetual Trophy----------Best Performing School
Rules
1) A child from a lower standard may participate in a higher standard's quiz team but not vice-versa.
2) At least half of the team must be pupils from the required standard e.g. at least two of the pupils on a 5th. Class team must be from 5th. Class-----the remaining two pupils may be from a lower standard.
3) Pupils who have won trophies may not participate on any other night.
