Re: Sponsorship of The Primary Go Games.

A meeting of the officers of Comhairle na Mumhan and officers of Cumann na mBunscol na Mumhan was held in Limerick on Tuesday 3rd June 2008. The matter of a sponsor for The Primary Go Games was discussed. The officers of Comhairle na Mumhan informed the officers of Cumann na mBunscol that The Star Newspaper is keen to sponsor The Primary Go Games for the next three years. The officers of Comhairle na Mumhan and the officers of Cumann na mBunscol have agreed to accept this sponsorship.

The games will now be known as: "The Star Primary Go Games". This logo will be printed on the jerseys as and from Sunday next 8th June in Cork. New sets of jerseys for the Cork and Tipperary Primary Go Game teams will be delivered to Pairc Ui Rinn this week-end. Counties that have Primary Game jerseys at present are requested to keep them until the next meeting in the Autumn when it will be decided what to do with them.
