Press Release All Star Selection 2005

With many worthy nominees to choose from the Selection committee met on Wednesday night and selected the top 9 Male and Female Rounders Players who will receive an All Star Award in the Longford Slashers Football Club on Saturday November 12^th.

A big challenge presented itself in the selection for Outfielders as there were so many deserving to choose from and only three to be chosen. While the All Stars are selected on their fielding positions their all round play makes them worthy of an award

The All Stars hail from clubs in Derry, Cavan, Dublin and Carlow.
