Dear Colleagues,
It gives me great pleasure to announce the dates for upcoming events for the academic year of 2006/07.
This will be our third year in operation and judging from the success of the previous two years this promises to be our best year yet.
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome any new schools who are taking part in any of our festivals this year. I'm sure you and your school will benefit greatly from this experience.
We have just finalised dates for 4 of our festivals this year and the rest will follow shortly.
Cumann Na mBunscol Londain Festivals 2006/07
12 October 2006 - Boys and Girls Challenge Cup Hurling/Camogie Festival
Preston Road - 10:30am
1 December 2006 - Boys and Girls Super Power Shield Gaelic Football Festival
Orley Farm - 10:30am
27 March 2007 - Boys and Girls Super Gaels Championship Gaelic Football Festival
Venue - TBA - 10:30am
10 July 2007 - Boys and Girls Great Britain Hurling Championships
Preston Road - 10:30am.
All Festivals will finish at 2:30pm. Further details will follow.
Training Day:
20 October 2006
We will be holding our annual training day for teachers, LSA's, parents and coaches on Friday the 20th of October. The course will take place at Harrow Teachers Centre and will commence at 10:00am and finish at 3:00pm. The course tutors will be Pat O Shea and Johnny Wilson.

British Primary Schools National Conference

Cumann na mBunscol London would like to invite you to join us at the first conference for any teachers aready (or interested in) promoting Gaelic Games in Primary Schools in Britain. We have invited officers from the National Primary Schools Board in Ireland to join us for this meeting. It will be an opportunity to meet and share with colleagues from Ireland and Britain and to find ways in which we can share expertise, plan together and move gaelic games in British Primary Schools forward.

12:00pm - Lunch
1:00pm - Meeting - Led by members of Cumann na mBunscol London and National Board members from Ireland
3:00pm - Close.
